Terms of Sale

Effective from 19 August 2026

1. General provisions

1.1. These terms of use (hereinafter the Terms) apply to the legal relationships arising from the purchase of goods through the online store inlove.ee (hereinafter the Online Store) between the owner of the Online Store, TIN.CANDLES OÜ (hereinafter the Seller), and the person purchasing goods from the Online Store (hereinafter the Buyer).

1.2. In addition to these Terms, the legal relationships arising from the purchase of goods from the Online Store are governed by the legislation in force in the Republic of Estonia, including the Law of Obligations Act and the Consumer Protection Act.

1.3. The Seller reserves the right to amend the Terms unilaterally by publishing the amended Terms on the Online Store website. A purchase is subject to the Terms in force at the moment the order was placed.

1.4. The Seller is not liable for delays or misunderstandings in fulfilling an order if they are caused by inaccurate or incorrect information provided by the Buyer when placing the order.

1.5. Acceptance of the Terms is a precondition for making a purchase. By placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read the Terms and agree to them.

1.6. These Terms are available in Estonian, Russian and English. In the event of any discrepancy between the language versions, the Estonian version prevails.

3. Products, prices and availability

3.1. The Online Store sells handmade coconut wax interior candles, home fragrance products and home decor accessories.

3.2. All prices shown in the Online Store are in euros (EUR) and include the value added tax applicable in the Republic of Estonia.

3.3. A delivery fee is added to the product price according to the delivery method chosen by the Buyer. The final delivery cost is shown to the Buyer in the shopping basket before the order is confirmed.

3.4. The information shown with a product describes its properties (material, dimensions, burn time, volume, scent notes). As the products are handmade, the colour shade, surface texture and appearance of the wax surface may vary slightly from piece to piece — this is not a defect.

3.5. Photos are for illustration and may differ slightly from the actual product due to the colour rendering of screens.

3.6. The Seller has the right to change the prices and the product range shown in the Online Store. If the Buyer placed the order before a price change took effect, the price valid at the moment the order was placed applies.

3.7. If an ordered product cannot be delivered due to a stock error, the Seller will inform the Buyer as soon as possible and offer a replacement product or refund the amount paid in full within 14 days.

4. Placing an order

4.1. The Buyer selects the desired products, adds them to the shopping basket and fills in the data fields required to place the order (first name and surname, contact phone number, e-mail address, delivery method and delivery address; for a Buyer who is a legal person, also the business name, registry code and, if desired, VAT number).

4.2. Before the order is confirmed, the Buyer is shown a summary of the ordered products, their quantities, unit and total prices, the delivery method and fee, and the final amount of the order.

4.3. To place an order, the Buyer must tick a box confirming that they have read these Terms and agree to them. The order cannot be placed without this confirmation.

4.4. The sales contract is deemed concluded from the moment the amount paid for the order is received in the Seller’s bank account.

4.5. After payment for the order, the Seller sends an order confirmation to the Buyer’s e-mail address. If the confirmation does not arrive within 1 hour, please check your spam folder and contact the Seller.

4.6. The Buyer is responsible for the correctness of the information provided when placing the order.

5. Payment

5.1. Orders can be paid for via the bank links of Estonian banks (Swedbank, SEB, LHV, Coop Pank, Luminor, Citadele, Revolut) and by credit and debit card (Visa, Mastercard).

5.2. Payments are processed by Maksekeskus AS (registry code 12268475, address Niine 11, Tallinn 10414, Estonia).

5.3. Payment takes place outside the Online Store, in the secure payment environment of the chosen service provider. The Seller has no access to the Buyer’s bank or credit card details.

5.4. The Online Store is the controller of personal data and transmits the personal data necessary for making payments to the authorised processor Maksekeskus AS.

5.5. After making the payment, click the “Back to merchant” button on the bank page so that the payment is registered correctly.

5.6. The invoice is sent to the Buyer by e-mail. For a Buyer who is a legal person, the invoice is issued on the basis of the company details provided when placing the order.

5.7. If an order has not been paid for within 3 days of being placed, the Seller has the right to cancel the order.

6. Delivery

6.1. Orders are packed and handed over to the carrier, as a rule, within 1–3 working days of receipt of payment. For handmade products, production time may extend the delivery time; we will inform the Buyer of this separately.

6.2. Delivery methods and prices within Estonia:

Delivery method Delivery time Price
SmartPost parcel locker 3–7 working days €2.99
Collection in person (Tähesaju tee 21-122, Tallinn) by arrangement, 1–2 working days €0.00

6.3. Free delivery: for purchases of €100 or more, delivery to a parcel locker is free of charge.

6.4. The carrier notifies the Buyer of the arrival of the parcel by SMS or e-mail. The parcel is kept in the parcel locker in accordance with the carrier’s terms (as a rule, 7 days); after this period the parcel is returned to the Seller and the cost of re-sending is borne by the Buyer.

6.5. If the parcel is visibly damaged on receipt, the Seller asks the Buyer to document this (a photo of the packaging and the product) and to notify the Seller within 3 working days at info@inlove.ee. The Seller will resolve the case together with the carrier.

6.6. The Seller is not liable for delays caused by the carrier, force majeure or incorrect delivery details provided by the Buyer.

7. Right of withdrawal — 14 days

7.1. A Buyer who is a consumer (a natural person who enters into a transaction outside their economic or professional activity) has the right to withdraw from a contract concluded in the Online Store within 14 days without giving any reason.

7.2. The withdrawal period begins on the day on which the Buyer or a third party designated by them (other than the carrier) acquired physical possession of the goods. If the order consists of several parcels delivered separately, the period begins on receipt of the last parcel.

7.3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must send the Seller an unequivocal statement of withdrawal before the end of the 14-day period, by e-mail to info@inlove.ee or by post to Läänemere tee 6-43, 13913 Tallinn. The statement may be submitted in free form or using the model form at the end of these Terms.

7.4. The right of withdrawal does not apply to a Buyer who is a legal person. Goods sold to businesses may be returned only by separate agreement between the Seller and the Buyer.

7.5. In accordance with § 53(4) of the Law of Obligations Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply, among other things, to products made to the Buyer’s personal specifications or clearly personalised (e.g. a candle made to order with a personal engraving or label) or to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if the packaging has been opened.

7.6. The Buyer may handle a product being returned only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning — in the same way as would be allowed in a regular shop. If the product has been used beyond this (e.g. the candle has been burned, the fragrance product has been put into use, the packaging has been destroyed), the Buyer is liable for the diminished value of the product and the Seller has the right to deduct the corresponding amount from the sum to be refunded.

8. Returning goods and refunds

8.1. The Buyer must return the goods to the Seller within 14 days of submitting the statement of withdrawal.

8.2. Returned goods must be sent to TIN.CANDLES OÜ, Tähesaju tee 21-122 (Meteo Maja, 2nd floor), Tallinn. Please pack the goods so that they cannot be damaged in transit, and include the order number and the bank account number for the refund.

8.3. The direct costs of returning the goods are borne by the Buyer, except where the reason for the return is that the product does not correspond to the order (wrong or defective goods) — in this case the return costs are borne by the Seller.

8.4. The Seller refunds to the Buyer all payments received under the contract, including the delivery cost paid by the Buyer (to the extent of the cheapest delivery method offered by the Seller), no later than 14 days after receiving the statement of withdrawal. The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods have been received back or the Buyer has provided proof of having sent them back.

8.5. The money is refunded to the same bank account or means of payment from which the payment was received, unless agreed otherwise. The refund is free of charge for the Buyer.

8.6. If the returned goods have deteriorated through the Buyer’s fault or as a result of improper use, the Seller has the right to set off the diminished value against the amount to be refunded. The Seller will inform the Buyer of the set-off in writing.

9. Right to submit a claim

9.1. The Seller is liable for defects in the goods that existed at the time of delivery for two years from the delivery of the goods to a Buyer who is a consumer. If a defect becomes apparent within the first year, it is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery.

9.2. The Buyer must notify the Seller of a defect within two months of discovering it by sending a notice to info@inlove.ee. Please state in the notice the Buyer’s name and contact details, the order number, a description of the defect and, if possible, a photo.

9.3. The Seller is not liable for defects caused by improper use of the goods, failure to follow care instructions, normal wear and tear, or the Buyer’s fault.

9.4. Safe candle use instructions. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before lighting. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Place the candle on a heat-resistant, level surface away from flammable objects. The Seller is not liable for damage caused by failure to follow these instructions.

9.5. In the case of non-conforming goods, the Buyer has the right to demand repair or replacement of the goods and, if this is not possible or fails, a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract.

10. Liability and force majeure

10.1. The Seller and the Buyer are liable to each other for damage caused by a breach of the Terms in the cases and to the extent provided by the legislation of the Republic of Estonia.

10.2. The Seller is not liable for damage caused to the Buyer or for delays in delivering the goods if these are due to circumstances that the Seller could not influence and whose occurrence it did not and could not foresee (force majeure).

11. Processing of personal data

11.1. The Seller is the controller of the Buyer’s personal data and processes personal data in accordance with applicable law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

11.2. The Seller uses the personal data entered by the Buyer only to process the order, deliver the goods and fulfil its accounting obligations.

11.3. The Seller transmits personal data to authorised processors: Maksekeskus AS (payment processing), transport service providers (delivery of goods), accounting and IT service providers.

11.4. The Buyer has the right to access their personal data, request its correction or deletion, restrict its processing and lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee).

11.5. The procedure for processing personal data is described in more detail in the privacy policy.

12. Dispute resolution

12.1. If the Buyer has any complaints regarding the Online Store or the Seller’s activities, they should be sent to info@inlove.ee. The Seller will respond to the complaint in writing within 15 days.

12.2. If the Buyer and the Seller cannot reach an agreement, a Buyer who is a consumer has the right to turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee (Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, Endla 10a, 10122 Tallinn, e-mail info@tarbijakaitseamet.ee, www.tarbijakaitseamet.ee). The proceedings are free of charge for the parties.

12.3. In the case of a cross-border dispute, the consumer can get help from the European Consumer Centre (www.consumer.ee).

12.4. Unresolved disputes are settled in Harju County Court in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Estonia.
